After 30 years in real estate, some of my most rewarding conversations have been with empty nesters and right-sizers. Do you want to spend less time on yard work and more time traveling? Do you want to be closer to grandkids in Jenks or Owasso? • Maintenance-provided townhomes — attached homes with no yard work, often in gated communities with a neighborhood pool. Owasso and Jenks have some beautiful options.
• Condos — lock-and-leave living perfect for frequent travelers. Midtown Tulsa has several well-managed condo communities near Utica Square and Brookside.
• Smaller single-family homes — three bedrooms, two baths, and a manageable yard. Claremore and Coweta offer great value for this type of home.

Coordinating the sale and the purchase
